Lowcountry Sings! Receives National Award

The Summerville Parks Foundation has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Lehman Award for Innovative Event Production by the National Association of Park Foundations. The award recognizes the foundation’s outstanding achievement in hosting Lowcountry Sings, a community karaoke event that brought together residents from all walks of life to celebrate music and community. Lowcountry Sings offered an inclusive and vibrant platform for local talent and music lovers to shine. Participants of all ages and abilities took the stage. The innovative format, coupled with the event’s inclusivity, has drawn widespread acclaim for fostering community engagement in a unique and entertaining way.
